Cynnamon Schreinert
	Cynnamon moved to Vancouver from the Niagara Region in the 90’s to follow her acting dream after reporting for local radio stations and working as a show host at an amusement park.
With performance skills for both drama and comedy Cynnamon recognized that acting is about the journey; just like life including her solo journey across Western Canada in February. After having appeared in numerous theatre and independent film productions, Cynnamon realized that she was drawn to words and creativity and wanted to make an impact. Deciding to further those skills Cynnamon enrolled in the Kwantlen Public Relations program and graduated in 2004 on the President’s Honour Roll. Since that time she has worked in public relations as an independent consultant while continuing her performance career on stage and on film.
In addition to her career she also finds time for Volunteer work. Cynnamon completed a two year Board of Directors run with Women in Film and Video Vancouver in 2007. During her time with WIFVV she led the Communications and Newsletter Committee. Throughout the school year she also participates in the YWCA High School Mentorship program as well as donating resources to various artistic and environmental organizations.
Cynnamon is available as a guest speaker on topics that include publicity, living creatively, optimism, overcoming adversity and mentorship.
